me
I discovered interior design by going to the Parade of Homes in Nashville every year with my mom and sister. It has always been a passion, but when my husband started a residential construction company in 2010, it became a reality. In 2020, I formally started Samantha Reedy Design after years of doing design for his company and various clients. Now, we get to work together on many spec and custom projects, and I also have the honor of designing projects independent of his company.
Jamie and I have three kids and two dogs, and we live in Brentwood, TN, where I grew up. My husband thinks it’s crazy that our kids are repeating my past and going to the same local schools where I went as a child. To me, it’s a dream.
My specialty and design focus is in full, start-to-finish custom home builds. I prefer to be brought on board during the dreaming phase so I can steer the architect and initial concepts, but I am able to jump in at any point in the process and bring expertise to small and large jobs alike. Each project is a unique exploration of design. No two clients have the same goals, taste, budget, or aesthetic. Bridging these elements together to create a beautiful, functional space brings me great joy.

Attention to detail
I love to use pieces from a client’s collection and give them new life. When a client sees the final product and is able to appreciate all of the hard work and detail woven into their new or reimagined spaces, it makes the saga of any construction project worth the effort!
